The new Peninsula Plywood Group, LLC is excited about continuing the tradition of manufacturing quality plywood. There are now four distinct chapters in the eventful 68 years of plywood manufacturing in Port Angeles -
Nearly 30 years under the original PenPly banner from 1941 to 1971 18 years as Peninsula Plywood Corporation, an affiliate company of ITT Rayonier from 1971 to 1989 19 years of operation as KPly, Inc., a subsidiary of Klukwan, Inc., an Alaskan Native owned village corporation. We are reclaiming the name Peninsula Plywood, linking the tradition of quality plywood with integrity and a forward looking approach.
